Моето мало пони is one of two Macedonian dubs of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. Produced by Sitel in 2015 in-house, it premiered on said channel on February 13, 2016, with the season three premiere. It replaced the Macedonian dub of Dragons: Riders of Berk on the schedule.[1] This dub has a limited voice cast of four identified actors.

This is the first Macedonian dub of the series, as another dub, produced by Klarion Studio, briefly aired on Pikaboo from November 25 to December 22, 2019 alongside an Albanian dub that too was produced in North Macedonia. The second dub only covered season 4.

Meet the Macedonian Applejack and Rainbow Dash

Rainbow Dash and Applejack are both males in this dub.

  • This dub is incomplete, as only seasons 3 & 4 were dubbed.
  • Most songs are left in English with purple subtitles at the bottom. Minor songs are dubbed. The sole exception is the opening theme, which was dubbed.
  • Presumably due to the highly limited cast of only four voice actors for the entire dub, Applejack and Rainbow Dash both receive a gender change in the dub, being voiced by men and referred to as males too.
    • This causes a plot hole in Magic Duel when Twilight changes Applejack into a stallion, including that she still says "I can change a female to a male."
    • Daring Do and Spitfire are notably voiced by Applejack's voice actor as well.
    • In "The Crystal Empire," Rainbow Dash is still referred to as a female despite being voiced by a male voice actor. Afterwards, her gender was fully changed into a male.
Cuts
  • In the first part of the season 3 premiere, Rainbow Dash's line "Crystal what?" is abruptly cut.
  • "The Crystal Empire, Part 2":
    • In the second part, the whole "Previously on My Little Pony" segment is cut, meaning that the episode opens with the title sequence instead.
    • Spike's "Yeah, I knew everything was gonna be fine." line was skipped, instead cutting immediately to the ending credits after the shot of Celestia and Luna looking over the Mane 6.
Erros
  • In promotional material, the localised logo is simply poorly overlaid on top of the original one, with no attempt to remove the original one either. This was fixed in the series, but even then, it uses the "To be continued" background rather than the actual background of the logo and "Developed for television by Lauren Faust" credit.
  • Oftentimes, the subtitles for songs appear off-sync with the vocals. For example, the subtitle for Rarity's first line at the start of "The Success Song" does not appear until halfway through her line. They also have several misspellings.
  • In dialogue, the Crystal Empire is referred to as "Кристал Емпајр", which is simply a transcription of its original English name. However, the title of S3E1-2 directly translates it to "Кристалното Кралство" (Latin script: Kristalnoto Kralstvo), creating a discrepancy between the episode's title and its script.
